Finance Director
LOA Full Surface Group is a group of eight companies, all active in surface treatment, employing some 300 people in total. Due to an active buy-and-build strategy, strong growth is expected in the coming years. Because of this growth and further professionalisation, LOA is looking for a hands-on Finance Director who can also fulfil a proactive business control role and the IT function.

As Finance Director, you are responsible for the correct and effective execution of the financial administration (supported by the administrative department) and the associated provision of information for all LOA stakeholders. From a business perspective, you are also able to take the business control function to the next level and shape and analyse the relevant KPIs. You are sharp, but always constructive and solution-oriented and show yourself to be a team player. You have an above-average interest in IT and find it a challenge to optimise processes. You manage the employees in the administration department and report to the management. Your place of employment is Tilburg or Eindhoven.
Responsibilities
The following tasks will fall under your responsibility:
Responsible for stable, qualitative and complete financial administration and reporting including preparation of financial statements
Takes ownership of the figures within the focus area. Can explain/explain the figures and comes up with process improvement proposals where necessary. Supports departments in financial matters
Functions as the financial conscience of management (critical in terms of cost development) and acts as an equal discussion partner. Does not lose sight of the connection
Does the design, organisation and operation of an adequate business control function, management reports and a KPI dashboard
Initiates and optimises process improvements in the field of finance and IT
Evaluates and financially underpins investments
Manages the insurance portfolio/pensions
Supports the planning and budgeting process
Creates and monitors budgets objectives/KPIs, investment proposals and cost prices
Participate in and/or lead departmental and cross-departmental project groups
Responsible for the company's fiscal position
A proactive and critical sparring partner for the management from an entrepreneurial perspective
Advising on and assessing business cases (e.g. in acquisition trajectories)
Maintaining contacts with relevant stakeholders (including house bank and shareholders)

Profile
Abtained financial-company education at HBO/WO level;
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience within an administrative environment, experience in a logistics and/or production environment is a plus;
Good interlocutor at strategic thinking level;
Ambitious, driven and proactive professional and a drive to optimisation with hands-on mentality;
Directing and instructing in-house staff;
Flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing circumstances;
Experience in consolidating business figures;
Affinance with AFAS is a plus as well as experience with M&A processes;
Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing;
Able to have a healthy dose of humour;
Preferably living in the region of Tilburg, Eindhoven or Breda.
